At Samara Counseling, I deeply believe that true well-being encompasses not just our mental and emotional health but our physical health as well. Our physical health and somatic aspects of our experience are often overlooked, compartmentalized, or simply pushed aside, leaving us feeling disconnected from ourselves. I see the whole person—the mind, body, and emotions—as an interconnected system and collaborate with you to address all aspects of self, much like the way a forest thrives when every tree, plant, and element works together in harmony, supporting one another to grow and flourish.
I founded Samara Counseling because I believe that mental health support should be more accessible and tailored to the needs of the individual. My approach goes beyond traditional therapy settings, offering a compassionate and holistic perspective that meets you where you are. With specialized training in therapeutic methods like EMDR, somatic-based therapies, and ego-state work, I focus on integrating all the different parts of your experience to bring lasting relief from the things that have caused you distress, no matter how long you've been struggling.
As an integrative practitioner, I take a collaborative approach to your care. I am available to work closely with other trusted professionals in your life, creating a cohesive, team-based experience that supports your overall well-being. This holistic approach ensures that all aspects of your health—mental, emotional, and physical—are cared for in a way that promotes lasting healing and balance.
I am committed to helping you feel seen, heard, and understood as you navigate the challenges you face. Together, we will work toward building a path of healing that nurtures every part of who you are.
